i had done the steps u said but i didn't succeed so i had installed 10.8 back and please tell me when lapic kernel for 10.8.2 is out and can be used.

how to control the fan speed and keep laptop cool

is there anything that i require to install from the multibeast and if yes then what and how...
 
copy the two kexts from attached zip file. Repair permissions with kext utility.
Restart, touchpad will work.

No luck. Still getting 'no trackpad found' error :/

i m getting KP.

i have hp dv6-6121tx
i had installed 10.8 first
and then updated to 10.8.2
and installed the dsdt Copy patched AppleACPIPlatform.kext, AppleHDA.kext in S_L_E.
then copied the lapic fix (released) kernel 10.8.2 and then ran the kext utility and repaired disk permissions
and then i restarted..

and got the KP

10.8 works well...
but not 10.8.2
 
what are the best settings for fan control

and do u have some artifacts..

and please answer my previous post

I have included SSDT in the package on my previous post. Should be fine to control the fan and temp.

If you still have artifacts, get this
 

It seem, if you have trackpad kext already installed, possible this kext has dependencies not met, kernelcache is not rebuilt, and extension is not used!

run this in terminal:

sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel

post the entire output of Terminal
