HP 8470p Catalina resolution

Hi,

I've just got a sucessfull installation of Catalina going, my AR9285 WiFi is working and so far so good. But my resolution is stuck in 1366x768, it supports 1600x900.

I've been trying to set ig-platform-id 0x0166004 in clover during boot (tried to install several clover config versions but they won't work, they do mount EFI tho, so I can edit config.plist) but I only get black screen.

I'm fairly new to this and wonder if anyone have a tip for what strings I can try in my config.plist ?

I'm curious as to what process you used to do this? Did you use the Hot Patch method as explained on here? Or did you build it using the conventional method?

@nilasamson, this is off topic but could i please request that you post your config.plist and EFI folder or an idea of the contents?

I'm struggling to get my Elitebook 8470p running on Catalina from Mojave...
