HP must have build tens of millions of these 6000 and 8000 series computers because they are everywhere for cheap.
Both HP and Dell's with 2nd or 3rd gen Intel chips are the best bang for buck out there. And both of them will run OSX just fine. I built my current hack with an optiplex 790 sff and a gt 710 for about $50. Right now it only has an i3 in it but I'm going to pick up an i7 2600 you can get them for ~$80 now.
Even if you weren't building a hackintosh, you can buy these machines and throw a 1050ti in them and have a super budget gaming PC.
