I've bought the GTX 1650 OC 4G. No 6 pin extra power required and better than 1050 TI.
My apologies for not seeing this right away, it's been a crazy month so far.
I was using a 1050ti with the factory PSU that comes with the 8300. The CMT models don't require low profile cards in most scenarios, the XFX housing on my RX-480 was just a little big and almost caused issues, but I made it work.

If you find that you need more juice later on down the road, you could go with a 500w PSU (cheaper than 650w) and an RX-480 8gb or 1060ti 6gb with no issues, unless you're wanting to boot into macOS, which doesn't support Nvidia in Mojave. Some higher quality games like Overwatch sometimes max-out the GPU/PSU, so use a monitoring system like HWmonitor to check your GPU and PSU utilization.

Best of luck!

Don't forget Mojave and all subsequent releases are not compatible with latest nVidia cards. I have moved away from 1050ti to RX580, but the PSU was an issue
