HP 4740s issues

Hi, i have an older laptop (HP 4740s) on which i installed Sierra. It mostly works but I have some really bad issues. First of all, my wifi doesn't work and i've tried installing all the kexts i could find on the internet. Secondly, I have some display issues, like when i log into my account or browse the internet i always get some visual glitches on my screen. It's also worrying that my laptop is heating like crazy. Any advice on how to fix these issues?
