I have the 27" es version of this. Not too matte or too glossy for my tastes. Looks good, fits in with any Mac hardware.
So if you need a low cost IPS 1080p monitor for general use these are a very good choice. Has speakers but don't have high expectations for those. Mostly good for system sounds and voice calls. Not for music. The base is made of metal, not plastic so it's sturdy and durable.

These are out of stock most places so it looks like they are closing them out for good. Get one while you can. Perfect for the kids to use for home schooling.

This is a newer version from HP and sells for $20 less. Also has more adjustment options such as portrait mode.
Haven't seen it in person but picture quality should be similar to the 24ea model. This is aimed more at business users than for home use. Would fit in great anywhere. It's the #1 best seller on Amazon right now.
