It seems as if we're into a point by point update of apfs.efi in High Sierra.

To find your current apfs.efi:

1. Boot into macOS High Sierra
2. Choose Finder > Go > Go To Folder
3. Navigate to /usr/standalone/i386/
4. Copy apfs.efi to /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/

As we use it in Clover only to be able to read the apfs partition would it make a difference to keep using an old version? Or does it stay in memory and the old version would be active while working in macOS too?

I'd like someone who knows to chime in on this as well. I keep apfs.efi up-to-date, but my understanding is it's only for Clover. Once the OS loads, EFI/CLOVER/driversUEFI64/apfs.efi is essentially discarded and it reverts to the /usr/standalone/i386/apfs.efi.

It is interesting that I upgraded to macos 10.13.1 successfully without updated apfs.efi. Is it necessary to update apfs.efi every macOS update?

Yes, it's considered a smart thing to do. You can never tell what has been changed in the updated apfs.efi.

I may need your help guys
I have correctly place the last driver version (as I have updated with last HighSierra Update) I was able to get in my OS just one time. Now I'm unable to see my OS Disk as usual like if I did not copy apfs.efi

What is more, something which is really strange, when I load disk util I can see my OS DISK unmounted !? haha
I can mount it but when I boot my computer OS Disk is not present.

WTF is happening, from which magic stuff I have been granted :)
