How to restore matte finish aluminum Apple G5 case outer surface?

I am working on G5 case mod. There are many scratches on the matte aluminum finish of the outer surface. Normal polish with Dremel won't work. If you polish it, the surface will become glossy, like mirror. If you grind it, it just replace big scratches with more small scratches. How to restore the matte aluminum finish?

It looks like it's a process called bead blasting. You can read about different Aluminum finishes here:

You'll probably need to go to some sort of shop to have it done though.
