I upgraded my Lion desktop to the latest patch (10.7.5) where the other one worked fine (used MultiBeast 4.0.3) but the other upon finishing the mac logo loading the monitor powers off but when I use rBoot 1.2 it worked just fine.

Here's my question, how can I use the settings in rBoot to this malfunctioning Lion? Where should I look?

Seems no one knows how to do this. Anyway I managed to boot my 2nd machine by copying "org.chameleon.Boot.plist" & "Preboot.dmg" in the rBoot.ISO (1.2.0) image and copy it under "Extra".

I also manually tried the following in the "org.chameleon.Boot.plist" file where it still failed. Just to write the things I did:
- disabled NVenabler or set it to NO
- tried different versions of MultiBeast
- Tried various setting in MultiBeast (can't remember what I played)
- copied the plist file in the other machine

Au contraire ... Other people do know how to set boot options.
You have not read directions for MultiBeast or totally misunderstood them.
Multibeast takes the boot choices you make in it and creates plist and extra file.
You can also enter boot options at boot time and get help on what boot options are available.
Read Multibeast PDF.
There are videos on forum about it also.
Look for the Aussie videos done for TonyMac.
Here is one
http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2012/01/hackintosh-basics-kernel-panics-boot.htmlThey are also avaiable on Utube.

Rboot is a rescue disk with minimal options and kexts. It exists to boot hack only.
Copy it to your hack and it will be minimally operational.

I have not watched this video so cannot vouch for quality
