Hi folks, I was wondering if there is any way to achieve 4k 120hz under macos in a hackintosh?
I have done some research and it seems that the HDMI is only 2.0 even under the RX6900XT and other navi 2x GPUs.
There are some DP1.4 to HDMI2.1 adapters which depend on DSC, but it seems DSC on macOS is broken since Big Sur. And I also do not see anyone reporting that they can get 4k120hz successfully via a DP port and an adapter.
So, is there any way to make it possible to get 4k120hz under macos for a HDMI only monitor? Thanks.
