how to fix picture linking for old topics on new version of forum

OK folks I wanted to share how to fix your pictures for your older topics since the new forum version doesn't use the old method for linking pictures so uploaded pictures don't work.

you will need to upload your pictures somewhere where they can be viewed from a web browser with a direct link. I personally used the public folder on my dropbox account and used the public link for each picture.

here is how to do the new linking method

 [img]picture url[/img]

hope this helps everyone so your pictures display again if you had previously uploaded them to the forum instead of linking.

an alternate method for doing the image attach is go to into your account settings and turn the full WYSIWYG editor which puts all of the old buttons back from the old forum.

maybe we can talk the admin into setting this on as a global setting for all users?
