@PREngineer,
- Logout of all of Apples on line systems iCloud, iMessage, iTunes ... etc.
- Wait 24 Hours then log back in.
Sometimes an account can get flagged in-correctly ... logging out and waiting 24 hours can sometimes clear this.
Tried too many times, maybe this works? Also FMM always saying "This device cannot be used to receive Apple ID verification codes". nvram works. deleted the nvram.plist and still works. Thought that may be causing a problem with the apple servers recognizing machine as legit but it didn't help. I do have recovery partition and unchecked dontdorecovery.
Does not show up as a device option in iPhones Text message forwarding.
Everything looks ok? 10.14.6, I don't think it matters whether MLB is in place as long as it
shows in the black area? Serial recognized in Mac lookup and not owned in apple serial lookup.
Deleted cache/preference files while deleted all connections in network pref while logged out.
possible logged into iTunes at time. Not sure that would affect it.
NetXtream Bcm ethernet a problem, though its showing as "built in"?
Had a try with that ethernet kext disabled and wifi made en0 and did
not work, though could have been an issue w/nvram @ the time.
ethernets Mac address in network settings says all zeros. Is this what it should be?
RTvariables Usemacaddr0? edit: Yup.
1. Tried 24 hr logout but forgot had another user logged in. Will have to try another. edit: duh.
2. Is the MLB supposed to be the same as the board serial? edit: It works this way apparently so.
3. maybe cause there's already 5 Macs signed in? Edit: Yes there is a 5 computer / and 5 phone... prob includes iOS
Ok all was right had to reinstall macOS. solved
Hey you guys are good. Thanks for the tons of work you've all put in.
Edit one odd thing probably not on topic but maybe memory got screwed up with the installation
that wasn't working. The machine would take multiple trys to post to bios if shut down but after reinstalling it was fixed. I did not realize this could happen. Wow. Thought I had a hardware problem.
