Got it working!!!!!! Imessage and Facetime finally works.

I am using Clover and all I did was follow Chapter 7(Chapter:7.1 MLB & ROM ID Values)
Switching to Clover was definitely worth switching from Chimera. Everything works flawlessly. BTW running Yosemite 10.10.4 Soon to update to 10.10.5

MOBO: Asus Z97M-Plus

been messing around with putting my RT values in, injecting system id, imessage signs in but cant send or receive any messages :<

Disconnect your p/c from internet, delete your current SmUUID value, generate and inject a new one, repair permissions, reboot and run debugger between at least three reboots, check values each time that values are not Null or changing, if all is well reconnect to internet and try Apple Services again.

thanks, the problem is that it is a real old mac pro 1.1(2.1) is there any way to change smuuid in it without going through clover/chameleon type of installation ? ( I know it is not quite the right forum, but i tried other places )

Hi I think you're out of luck here as I believe Apple burns the SmUUID value into the Board it self, so to change the value would entail changing the Board. That is as far as my limited knowledge understands how it is on a real mac, maybe someone else can advise on your query - Isn't this mac model too old to do what I am guessing you're trying to do?

silly question.. is it possible to use the the necessary values from a real macbook pro for my hackintosh? i have a legit 2015 mbpr and was thinking about how great it'd be to just use those values and share between those 2 machines.

i'm glad i switched to clover as the security and point release updates have been awesome, just bummed about no iMessage. :(

EDIT: so... that worked. :)

Just switched my hack over to clover on a clean install and while everything is working great, iMessage and Facetime generated a Call Support message with a customer code. I went ahead and took a look at the UUID based on what I read on the guide to look to see if my motherboard has a SID bug and the UUID matched in the registry. I gave apple a call and went through all the steps to get to a tech support guy, he tried to unlock my account and elevated me up to a senior advisor and he also couldn't fix it... anyone have any clue what to do at this point?

my hack is:
Intel i7-4770k
Asrock z87 oc forumla ac motherboard
16Gbs ram 1600mhz
EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 ACX 2.0 FTW
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD x 2(1 drive for OS X, 1 for windows 10 Pro)

when my hack was on chimera, I could never log into Facetime after Yosemite 10.10.0 came out and would get activation error. This is the first time the customer code error has displayed for me.

The Mac Pro 1,1 2006/2007 only has 32bit EFI Architecture its to old and even if you did have Mountain Lion,Mavericks,Yosemite or EI Capitan your iMessage still won't work! its to old.

Thanks JB for the clarification.

@ replicant - by cloning your values from your real mac to your Hack, you are well and truly on the road to having them both black listed by Apple. Its not a matter of MAYBE but WILL BE - sooner or later both machines will be flagged by Apple Servers as potential security risk and will be booted out of most or all of the Services, also your ID and possibly your mac address will be flagged and believe me you don't want to go down the road of getting it all sorted with Apple Tech because its one big headache.

Where have you been in the last 18 months or so amid the 'Great Cloning Fiasco' where apple had to change its security protocols because of so many cloned machines logged into its servers forcing them to kick them all out including real macs off iMsg/F-Time etc.
My advice to you is don't use your real mac's values on your hack, there really is no need, just read the GUIDE on how to create a set of unique values for your hack and how to inject them - Good luck.
