How to extend the iMac Pro to X99 [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hey thanks for the answer on Mojave! I decided not to upgrade just yet, I'm still happy on HS. I do have a new question though, I am not able to export h.264 on fcpx with my RX 580, and every google search I do, leads me back to a post about some guy changing his info to an iMac 19,1 and it starts working. I'm curious if you think that just upgrading to a Vega 64 would do the trick, or if I should change my info? If I change to a 19,1, are there other changes that need to be made? I'm not smart at this at all, and I don't want to break my system lol.

I would not change to iMac 19,1 as it has other implications. A change to a Vega 56 or 64 would indeed solve the issue.

I have read it few times now and I did my best to follow your steps to the letter.
I'm very happy with my system now and there is no issues at all.. Everything works nicely and benchmarks are even better than windows 10
Can you pls confirm that my power management is working?

Your power management is properly working, although it would also continue doing such after disabling the _xcpm_set_info (obsolete) and _xcpm_core_scope (obsolete, as your MSR is unlocked [CFG disabled in BIOS]) kernel patches.
 
Okay so this may be a stupid question, but I need to ask because I just don't know.

How does one patch the DSDT? I am testing my knowledge with something easy (Realtek 1150), and as of now I'm just pasting the .aml in the patched folder? After googling, everyone in saying I have to disassemble the DSDT with IASL, open the contents in MaciASL, and patch from there. But they always show adding sources, I'm not understanding how to incorporate the .aml from kgp? Or does that have to be disassembled as well? Thank you in advance for the help / advice!

Okay so now I'm confused, I have most of my PCI devices, just not my NVME (its just my windows drive so not worried about that), my RX 580 (my Vega 64 is coming in tomorrow so not worried right now) and my ASMedia USB 3.1 / C (This one I'm concerned about.) I have the Deluxe II which is 1142 as well so it should work OOB, am I wrong?
 
Okay so this may be a stupid question, but I need to ask because I just don't know.

How does one patch the DSDT? I am testing my knowledge with something easy (Realtek 1150), and as of now I'm just pasting the .aml in the patched folder? After googling, everyone in saying I have to disassemble the DSDT with IASL, open the contents in MaciASL, and patch from there. But they always show adding sources, I'm not understanding how to incorporate the .aml from kgp? Or does that have to be disassembled as well? Thank you in advance for the help / advice!

Why do you want to patch your DSDT.aml? Properly adopt and use my X99 system SSDTs and you are all set!

Hey kgp, I really appreciate your help, I'm new to all of this, but I successfully implemented all of the SSDTs!! Including TB3 for Asus ThunderboltEx 3 and I can confirm that it is hot swappable! I'm down to one last issue though.. I bought a OSXWIFI BCM94360CD (same as yours), and I'm getting errors while booting, something about power bus. Curious if its not plug and play? Should I be setting it up in Win 10 first? When PC is off, it shows red light, as soon as I power it up the light turns off? I'm assuming Ive got a bad connection in the USB 2.0 header cable they gave me.

May be you just connected the 10-pin USB2.0 cable connector upside down on your motherboard or the 2-pin cable connector upside down on your OSXWIFI ?
