Millennium X99 Guide update completed

Dear friends of X99,

with the intention the simply update my former X99 Desktop Guide, I ended up with a totally new iMac Pro X99 Build and Desktop Guide and even with a new thread title. No stone remained on the other and the old guide totally vanished..



Now.. lot of stuff to be studied and implemented at your side ..

I have a MSI X99A (+ 6850k) which is really complicated to run hackintosh with. But it is still running though. (10.13.5)



I cant boot with Aptiomemoryfix, need free2000 and i need to run with Fake CPUID 0x0306F2 (isnt booting with 0x040670) but changed SMBios to iMacPro and my CPU is running normally.

With the new TSCSync Kext i get a TSC KP at boot (TSC Sync Error)

OC isnt working - do you have a tip for me? I've read your several guides multiple times!

I tested every combination of Kernel Patches of yours and mine but its still not working. XCPM is running and SSDT is generated with -turbo 4200.

My drivers64uefi folder:

Kind of exhausted after writing up this new guide for nearly 24 hours...

Now I have to prepare myself for the Apple X-Mas event of today...

Thus, just shortly...

• Did you really implement everything I came up with the last 24 hours just in 5 minutes?

• Do you use my latest EFI-Folder distribution ?

• Did you already change to iMac Pro?

• Did you implement and adopt TSCAdjustRest.ket to your CPU?

• Do you use Clover v4509?

• ssdt.aml is just obsolete...

• You still use OSXAptioFix2, which is definitely the worst of all solutions!

If I look to your /kexts/Other/ and /drivers64UEFI directories, nothing of the above seems to be the case...

I would suggest that you start working instead of making me work for nothing...

And I would just start from scratch in your case...

Have you tried with SMBIOS and FAKE CPUID 0x040674 (I believe that is Broadwell-E identifier). Also check out the new EFI Folder kgp uploaded in post #1700, it saved my current setup (which uses your exact same CPU btw)..

There is anyway a new EFI-Folder attached to the originating post for this thread (new guide)..
