how to check if trim is enabled ?

How can I verify that I have trim enabled for my ssd? I used the HP installer and am pretty sure I checked it, and I have an application under /desktop/tools called trim enabler....should I also be running that ?

No it not enabled by default, you need to run the Trim Enabler at least once.

Go to system report (About this mac) and look for TRIM-Support at SATA. See screenshot.

Launch Trim Enabler,
there you will see if patch is applied or not.

Open Terminal and run

system_profiler SPSerialATADataType | grep 'TRIM'

I recommend to leave it disabled in hackintosh, even on real macs.
