Going through the debugging process to see what is causing the USB not to boot. If it was an error in my procedure following the guide then the UniBeast would have at least allowed it to boot. If the patched bios was causing the issue then a reflash would have fixed it and I could have dealt with sleep/wake at another point. By the your post to tell me to restart the USB boot process I already reformatted it and started again multiple times.
Even though I have 3 USBs, none of them will work. Am going to purchase a different brand and see what happens.
Try to to delete (remove) any partition on the USB Stick under Windows. Then, try to reformat the USB stick under OSX with HFS+ and a GUID partition table. Then start from scratch with the USB Installer creation.
Can somebody else check if something concerning the createmedia approach changed with the last macOS versions and if the approach outlined in the guide is still valid?
This makes me headache already...
Your install macos.app ist complete? Did you download it from Appstore?
