As per the guide, in the gigabyte special notes

Yes, there's a typo, and it's not the easiest paragraph to find in this wealth of information.

After fixing this, now I have more verbose and got stuck on another issue.

Please help me...

It's not always stuck here. Sometimes I can get into the installation phase, but than it got stuck again.

You don't seem to have follow the guide such as setting your SMBIOS nor the serial board number.
Follow the steps of the guide *precisely* another it's not going to boot...
You can't just start thing and expect to work with no work from your part.
Especially when you're not using the recommended motherboard

Even at full load with all 16 cores running at 4.8ghz and 44x the pci audio never even glitched during my 30 minute crunch test. The temps stayed around 60 c.
What watercooling system do you have? Your temps are very low, I wish I could achieve it with my 360 mm cooler.

Can someone explain me how to implement steps E.9.2.1 to E.9.2.12? I didn't get it. Where should I input DefintionBlock entry and PCI Device Implementation? Is it done with IORegistryExplorer?
I would really appreciate some help here. I apologize if this sounds like a dump question. I am sure there are many people checking this thread who is not at that level to catch everything, but could also benefit from some help on this.

Well... For the 1st time I would also public post my thanks to KGP !
Thank's to You folks I convince myself to change MB from Gigabyte X299 Aorus Game 9 to Gigabyte X299 Designare.
I also updated-changed my ssd from Samsung 960EVO 1TB to Samsung 960PRO 2TB.
Well... The change was definitively WORTH!!!

Previously on Gigabyte Gaming 9 all worked more or less fine, but I had 3 small annoying problems:
1) slow boot times (3-5min)
2) At each boot I had to reconfigure the Monitor preferences, because strangely everytime the system booted with the "duplicate monitor" flag setted.
3) 2-3 Times a day my Parallel Windows 10pro Virtual Machine "stopped" to function and I had to reboot not the whoole system, but the Virtual machine.
.... Now all this 3 annoying issues are definitively gone!!! ;-))

Beside this I can only recommend the Rulebreaker01 EFI, because from the early beginning, so starting from the -from scratch- installation of MacOSX 10.13.3 (17D2047) on my new ssd...the machine behaved totally as one native iMac...NO issues at all, all the installation worked very smoothly, without hassles or problems...the machine runned on the 1st time boot attempt very reliably and fast.
Benchmarks are - as before - awesome!!!
So I wanted only to share that from one "easeness of installation and iMac PRO compatibility" point of view, based on my limited experience I would warmly recommend the following hardware setup:
1) Gigabyte X299 Designare
2) Samsung 960PRO
3) AMD Vega Frontier Edition.
Again Thanks' a lot for your precious EFI and Ideas sharing guys!!!

There's a complete forum dedicated to that topic here. I don't think we should clutter this already super long thread with even more topics. And you'll likely get better answers in the specialised ssdt or dsdt forum

Can you suspend/resume with your board.
Glad I could be of some help. I've improved the set-up a fair bit with the last ssdt injection. I'll update the EFI folder accordingly

Can you tell me then where I should look for it?
