So I found this 3gb gtx 660 on Amazon for just $164.99. Is this too good to be true? I know it is an older card, but most other 660s are going for around $200 at the moment. One thing that makes me suspicious is that the 2gb card is actually $10 more then this card. Should I jump on this offer?

One more question... is this card compatible with Yosemite? If so then what are the chances of it staying that way for later versions of OS X?

Expect to see deals on this model of card on the run up to the festive season as its replacement is due next spring. The GTX 660 is Yosemite compatible and should be reasonably compatible in the future. Always best to change GPUs fairly frequently with OS X to stay compatible.

I would go with the newer GTX 760 which is now only $189.99 AR at Amazon. The extra
1 Gb of VRAM will only make a difference if you're using a very high res. monitor or using
3 1080p monitors. Should be compatible with many new versions of OS X.

I can't find this $189.99 GTX 760 on amazon. The link you gave me is for a $209.99 card. If there is no way I can get this card for cheaper I think I will go with a 750ti, or wait for a black Friday sale. Thanks for the help!

AR stands for after rebate. You can send in for a $20 rebate if you buy it before 11/30/14.
Thus the final cost is 189.99.
