How do I upgrade from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2?

Hey guys,

My hackintosh worked great until upgrading to 10.8.2.
Since the upgrade programs crashed (textedit, app store...)
I tried deleting all the system caches but it didn't help.
So I restored to pre update 10.8.2 disk image.
How should I do it right? Is it possible without clean installation???

specs: Intel core 2 duo e5300, Sapphire 4830, 8 GB RAM DDR 2

Did you update with the standalone 10.8.2 installer or through software update?

If i were you i would do a clean installation using a PRE-Made 10.8.2 Usb stick...



But anyway for your info.

1st time I install lion on 10.8.0 i use official apple update through the OS... and it work ok.... nothing crash on mine..

2nd time I clean install 10.8.0 and i use the "downloaded combo update 10.8.2" file and nothing crash on mine..

3rd time I clean install using 10.8.2 using a 10.8.2 usb stick. and Nothing crash on me....


There you have it...


But out of all the three option the 3rd one is the most solid...way to have 10.8.2...
