I have installed Ubuntu 18.04 on a SuperMicro X11SSH-F motherboard, I would like to generate a DSDT based on this motherboard, if possible. I already tried using `iasl -T DSDT` however the output is

/*
* Intel ACPI Component Architecture
* iASL Compiler/Disassembler version 20180105 (64-bit version)
* Copyright (c) 2000 - 2018 Intel Corporation
*
* Template for [DSDT] ACPI Table (AML byte code table)
*/
DefinitionBlock ("", "DSDT", 2, "Intel", "_DSDT_01", 0x00000001)

And it looks unbelievably short.

Further here is a list of the PCI devices

@ggt667,

There is no need to use Linux to dump the ACPI tables.

Just press F4 while in Clover which will dump both the DSDT and all the SSDT tables.
You'll find the output in the following folder :-

Code:
/EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin

The process is detailed in the following guide :-

Although written for laptops most of the guid is also relevant for desktops.

That said it is usually not necessary to manually patch the DSDT on desktops, we usually hot patch it using Clover ACPI fixes and custom SSDT's.

Cheers
Jay

How long does it take to make a USB w/UniBeast? I'm running this on my iMac 2013 w/32 GB RAM and 512GB Flash Storage.

This is what I'm looking at at 15 hours into the process

I see no option to see what UniBeast is up to.
