It is time for a video card upgrade and upon reading all of your excellent posts and guides, it looks like the Sapphire pulse radeon RX 580 8gb is a great choice that works OOB.

I was wondering if anyone running Adobe CC 2018 could comment on compatibility and performance with PhotoShop, Premiere, and After Effects. Bonus if Fortnite works. :)

Thank you for you reply.

Here is my brief review:

As of September 2018, the only Adobe CC 2018 app that seems to use the GPU 580 GPU is Photoshop under MacOS 10.13.6.

Fortnite runs at 20 fps with graphics set to HIGH, here is what the GPU/CPU graph looks like while playing:

This same card booted to Windows 10 on the same hardware get 60FPS on Epic settings. So while playable on Mac, the game and graphics drivers are far from optimized.

The OpenCL score is 144789 setup as iMac14,2.

I can confirm that the Pulse Radeon RX 580 Works OOB (out of the box). I just pulled the Nvidia card, inserted the ATI and was running immediately even without changing the plists or deleting the NVIDIA web driver.
