Hi everyone!
Im having problem with installation of High Sierra on my PC, all the details below:
PC rig:
Intel Core i7 5960X @ 3.00GHz, Haswell-E/EP 22nm Technology
32.0GB or RAM Ballistix
Mobo ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. X99-S (SOCKET 2011)
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (NVIDIA)
953GB Crucial_CT1024M550SSD1 (SATA (SSD))
447GB KINGSTON SA400S37480G (SATA-2 (SSD))
Ive made OSX USB along this tutorial:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/
I did some changes to BIOS as below:
1.Exit/Load Optimized Defaults
2.Ai Tweaker
a.ASUS Multicore Enchancement: "Diasable"
b.CPU Core Ratio: "Auto"
c.Internal PLL Overvoltage: "Disable"
3. Advanced/CPU Configuration/CPU Power Management Configuration/
a. Enchanced Intel SpeedStep Technology: "Disabled"
b. Turbo mode: "Enable"
c. CPU C-State: "Auto"
4. Advance/USB Configuration
a. Intel xHCI Mode: "Enabled"
b. EHCI Legacy Support: "Enabled"
c. xHCI Hand-off: "Enabled"
d. EHCI Hand-off: "Didabled"
5. Advance/Onboard Devices Configuration
a. SPDIF Out Type: "HDMI"
b. PCIEX16_2 Slot Bandwidth: "Auto"
c. Serial Port: "Off"
6. Boot/
a. Fast Boot: "Disabled"
b. Setup Mode: "Advanced"
I havent done point 7 because for some reason it turns off all my SSDs for the mother board... and it can not see them at all.
7.Boot/CSM (Compatiblity Support Module)
a. Launch CSM: "Disabled"
8. Boot/Secure Boot
a. OS Type: "Other OS"
Effect:
What I was able to achieve it:
1. Apple logo on screen. Start of a loading bar which freezes at the very beginning and restart.
or
2. Apple logo turns into crossed circle and restart after pushing any button.
Im stuck... Id appreciate any help and/or info on that problem.
Thanks a lot!!!
