High Sierra Freezing at Clover Loading Bar

I successfully made a High Sierra UniBeast drive, and after following the recommendations in other threads got it to boot and start the installer. Unfortunately it stops very quickly once the Apple loading bar shows on my screen. Verbose photo attached

Made it two lines further by forcing bios to see USB as HDD

As life continues, Booted into installer, changed clover boot options, I have gen 7 i-7, it was set to gen 6, also selected USB Ownership...
Now, erasing or partitioning SSD fails in either Disk Utility or terminal in diskutil. Underlying error 5... which so far I am not finding online

If anyone is following this... I replaced the SATA cable... drive partitioned and converted to APFS... High Sierra is currently installing

On first reboot... loaded from Clover... three boot options given... Install from USB, Install Preboot from Preboot, Install from MacOS... It appears that the Preboot option is the correct choice

Third and Fourth reboots selected to boot from MacOS
Finally to desktop... running Multibeast
