run "OS X default Graphics Driver" Cuda Driver Version is the latest (387.99) but in Cuda preferences is still showed "Update required" today i've made an available Update for Cuda, but nothing changed.
CUDA has no support for OS X default Graphics Driver.

New Release 387.99
  • CUDA driver update to support CUDA Toolkit 9.0, macOS 10.13.2 and NVIDIA display driver 378.10.10.10.25.102

Yes, running High Sierra on APFS, with GTX 660 Ti 2GB. Updated to High Sierra 10.13.2, run "OS X default Graphics Driver" Cuda Driver Version is the latest (387.99) but in Cuda preferences is still showed "Update required" today i've made an available Update for Cuda, but nothing changed. System starts smoothly, no problems. After few minutes of using Safari or Finder Preview Window there are still Graphic bugs everywhere. Using 2 Monitors.

So guys, I have no idea I'm definitely not a Hackintosh specialist but I try to observe this Nvidia Graphic problem under High Sierra. Until now I think it must be a problem with the Graphic Memory. I had this problem several times also under Sierra, every time I worked with Premiere Pro and Graphic memory was full. Now I see with iStats, that my graphic memory after about 15 Minutes without doing anything only surfing with safari runs out of space. I don't know why. And every time the graphic memory runs full, the Graphic on screen is totally destructed. Maybe it's a memory issue?!

Hey guys, I've got an ASUS GTX 760 as well.

1) Have all these graphics bugs been fixed? Or is it still not 100% perfect?
2) I'm a beginner at this and what I really want is to get either Sierra or High Sierra perfectly up and running with as little trouble as possible. What is the EASIER install of the two?
3) Are there important features in High Sierra that I will be missing out on if I choose Sierra?
4) I have a Macbook Air that is currently running Sierra and I am able to update to download the High Sierra install file via the AppStore. However, I don't know how to get the Sierra install file as I'm already running Sierra on the Macbook Air.

Please help. Thanks in advance! Sorry if this post is not completely relevant to this thread.

Hey,

1) AFAIK, the artifacts (or glitch, whatever you call it) issue is not resolved. I am one of the few people affected by the issue, I am still stuck on Sierra.

2) I don't think there is much difference. If your graphics card is one of the problematic ones, just stick with Sierra. Other than that, I think procedure will be almost the same.

3) The most important change I can think of is that, file system change. Apple switch from HFS+ to APFS with High Sierra. But no worries, if you are a regular user you wouldn't notice the difference between two.

4) This is a lil bit problematic, yes. I keep at least two latest versions on USB thumb drives just to be safe. If not, I would probably search online for shared images uploaded by other people.

fyi I also has the same problem here but I have 650ti and I have 4k monitor but if I lower my resolution to 1080 it tends to resolve the issue

So whats up with the 6xx series cards? I did a fresh install today of 10.13.3 but as many have experienced, pixilation makes the system unusable!

I have two identical builds; one at home and one in my office. Im a graphic artist and video editor.

At home I have a GTX 970 which i use with 1 40" LCD TV. Running 10.13.2 just fine!
At my office i have an older GTX 650 TI which i use with (3) 23" monitors, 2 DVI and 1 HDMI. Im running 10.12.6 and tried 10.13.3 today.

FEW cards for sale will do 3 or 4 monitors and fewer still have 2 DVI and HDMI ports. SO replacing this 650TI isnt easy and I dont really want too.

I found a GTX 1050 TI with 2 DVI and an HDMI port, has 3 monitor support. But its $355, and only has 768 CUDA Cores, 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5.

My older 970 has 2 DVI and an HDMI port, has 4 monitor support, 1664 CUDA Cores, 4GB GDDR5 memory 256-bit memory.

I NEED the Cuda Cores for Graphic Acceleration!

The GTX 650 TI Boost supports 4 monitors has 768 CUDA Cores, 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5. Its a Great card for Video editing and desktop graphics! I bet there is NO difference in my production process between this old 650 and the new 1050.
I know my 970 beats the snot out of most 10xx cards. Only the 1070 and 1080 best it and at $800+ its not worth it.

So whats up with this situation???? Seems ALL the versions of 10.13 are corrupt with the 6xx GTX cards.

A FAST and worthy replacement for the 650TI is a 1080 card but they are $800 to $1200 WTF?!?!

There are no problems with the Kepler cards themselves. Sierra and older versions of MacOS have no such problems. Obviously the problem lies with High Sierra itself, and Apple, it seems, has shown no inclination of fixing this problem so far.

If you want to fix this problem NOW, and if you don't want to replace your graphics card, the only solution is to move back to Sierra or older versions of MacOS.

I'm staying on Sierra. Who knows. Maybe 10.14 will break all Nvidia cards period. It's an AMD world nowadays
