Hey all, so I have a nice stable build of high sierra on a lenvo carbon x1 - pretty much everything working minus the wifi card, which I have on the way. I used the "99% Perfect Sierra build" post as a general guide (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...n-with-dual-boot-unchanged-win7.237922/page-3).
Problem: On sleep battery is used at a rate of about 10%/hour. During normal use power is used at about 20-30% per hour. Not great. Noticed that laptop is warm during sleep but is actually in sleep mode. Poking around in the system logs I see this:
So is this actually just not sleeping?
I made sure to follow the native power management and USB mapping for InjectAllUSB.kext. Not sure what else I could be doing wrong. One thing I noticed is that while some people report that this model of intel wifi/BT card has the BT working, mine does not. Oh and hibernate is disabled and all that. Really stable build with the one point of the battery but I kind of need this machine for travel.
Stumped.
