Hi guys help would be appreciated with NIC problem

Hi guys my first post here. Im installing retail dvd of macosx on my gigabyte g41m-es2l rev 1.4 f9 bios for a friend of mine. Ive got the exact same board exept rev 1.1. Im having a strange problem with my internet. After i install SL my internet works fine. I update and run the ridgeline installer and SL doesnt recognise my rig as having a network card installed. Its driving me nuts. Sucessfully updated to 10.6.7 but no internet. My internet only works when i boot my SL partition with iboot. Im thinking the ridgleline installer has installed a kext that isnt compatible with my NIC however that installer was made for this motherboard.

any help would be appreciated

Ahhhhh ive finally solved it. It seems i have revision 1.4 of the gigabyte g41m-es2l motherboard. It has a different LAN driver see this thread for more info http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofive ... 9-100.html
