It all depends. You could pick up yourself a GTX 760 second hand which will work out of the box.
can i finish the procedure without the graphics card?

i still have current project files in Final Cut Pro 7. i chose Hackintosh so i can still edit in final cut on a current machine for a reasonable price, with the added benefit of dual operating systems and upgradeability. but im a video producer/editor. i dont know much about computer code, BIOS, patches, anything like that. friends and family have been some help, but im still having trouble on a step by step basis. i just need a good reliable hackintosh with which i can edit some clean 2k video. this will be a work machine. WAS THIS A BAD IDEA?

Hello VioletDragon
I'm trying to setup the optimal clover folder for my build which is a z97-hd3 v2.1 with a i5-4690k, nvidia 1050 ssc gpu, 16 GB RAM, and wifi-BT mini PCie card. I wanted to know which SSDTs from your github project should I use if I have the clover folder that can be found in the link below.

Wouldn't bother with DSDT.aml. Clover Hotpatch is easier. Use Patches from https://github.com/VoiletDragon/Z97-HD3-Patches

Hello Violet Dragon. Does that mean that I don't need to keep the DSDT.aml in the clover\acpi\patched folder? The clover hotpatches you're referring to are in the config.plist files that are published in the link you posted (which section of the config file?) or are the SSDTs that you published there too? Should I apply the clover hotpatches by saving them in the clover\acpi\patched folder? Besides that, do I have to modify something in the config.plist? I used once the config.plist file in your github project (the one for nvidia web drivers) and I couldn't boot. That's why I'm using the one that I attached in my previous post.

SSDTs goes in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched. Patches in config goes under ACPI, DSDT, Patches. Look at post_install_nvidia_graphics_nvidiaweb.plist. https://github.com/VoiletDragon/Z97.../post_install_nvidia_graphics_nvidiaweb.plist

Thanks a lot!!! I saw also your video in YouTube. What about CPU power management? I was generating the c and p states in a SSDT using Pike's command. I saw that Rehabman recommends native CPU power management in the following thread. What you prefer to do?

Recommend implementing Native Powermanagement. Bad things will happen if you neglect Native Powermanagement. Take a look at https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh
