Hi All,
Currently, I have installed Lion 10.7 on my HP Pavilion dv7-6b01. There is one MAJOR problem though, the display on my notebook's screen remains blank all the time! If I use HDMI, I am able to see an output on the external screen, but not the internal LCD. I can change resolutions etc, but no matter what I do, I am not able to get the notebook's LCD display working. Currently, Mac is using the Intel HD 3000 gpu, not the ATI Radeon HD 6770M. Could this be the problem? How can I get the HD 6770M working? Would I be able to create a DSDT? And If so, how would I do this :S

Attached are some screenshots:

Thanks all,
Dean

Okay, I have got the LCD panel working using this method: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=28851&hilit=0116

Worked like a charm!

The Intel HD 3000 Graphics worked OOB, but the QE/CI did not work.
After updating to OS X 10.7.1, QE/CI worked!
I now have working smooth QE/CI, 1920x1080 LCD panel.
Sound works too with VoodooHDA 2.7.2 (had to download and install from VoodooHDA's website, the versions in MultiBeast did not work at all.
Touchpad works, but its detected as a normal mouse, not a touchpad, so no multitouch support. Have tried many kexts, but none seem to work :(
Brightness, sleep doesn't work either.

Thanks,
Dean
