Help with poor performance!!

ok, so I walked through the installation again, this time testing the cpu speed in cinebench 11.5 at each step.

1. (with iBoot NVIDIA) clean installation - my cpu score in cinebench was 6.16 (compared to windows of 6.58, so not a huge difference)
2. (with iBoot NVIDIA) upgrade to 10.6.4 - 6.16
3. (with iBoot NVIDIA) ran multibeast with DSDT only - 6.16
4. (with iBoot NVIDIA) ran multibeast and installed audio and sata kext - 6.16
5. (with iBoot NVIDIA) ran multibeast and chose the com.apple.boot.plist -> 32-bit GraphicsEnabler=No and smbios.plist -> Mac Pro -> Core i7 - 4.1

the last step killed my performance and I don't know why!?! I made sure to use the right DSDT but maybe I just need a custom one?

try editing the smbios.plist so the product name is MacPro5,1

try editing the smbios.plist so the product name is MacPro5,1

That won't work, you also need to edit SMboardproduct to the correct value.

In my testing I've found MacPro5,1 killed my performance.

What's the code string you need to add to get it to Mac Pro 5,1? I know what it is for 4,1 but not 5,1.
