Nothing higher than High Sierra. Must install web drivers for HS to work.

Your GTX 1070 is not supported on MacOS Mojave and later due to lack of Nvidia web drivers.

And I am not sure if you can get High Sierra to install and run on your system.

I say forget about it unless and until you can replace the graphics card with a supported AMD card like the RX 580 / RX 5500 XT / RX 6600 XT.

Your CPU and motherboard are hackable, using the latest AMD kernel patches.

As already stated your Nvidia card limits you to running macOS High Sierra.
