I have installed Catalina 10.15.7 and am able to boot to the partition with macOS on. However, it gets stuck while on the loading screen, as below:

I am using an Asus Zenbook UX410, and have attached my EFI. I'm not able to see anything other than this load screen when using verbose mode, so please let me know how i would provide this if required.

So... you're using -v in your boot-args, but you still only get this? No errors in the boot log before that screen? Any panics, maybe after waiting for some time?

Lol, I think I get what your issue is. You boot verbose, and then - this progress bar that usually only takes 1-3 seconds - gets stuck. Same here.

I was able to boot a Big Sur disk that I installed on another computer, but I couldn't boot the one I installed on this one. Weird...

I resolved this by using Catalina version 10.15.6
