Hi!
First of all please excuse my poor english
I just tried to start my first hackintosh on my old hardware, i tried with snow leopard at the beginning and all worked fine (iboot method).
I can install the system and all was OK.
When i tried to install mountain lion (or even lion) to have full benefits from my video card the installation procedure fail.
I use unibeast to prepare installation usb drive, i need to use this additional parameter to boot:
npci=0x3000
The system start, then the gray apple on white background with the "wait" turning line appear... and after a few seconds i got and error screen like this one:
http://www.okaytim.com/wp-content/themes/wp-okaytim3/images/appledeath.jpg
My system hardware:
mobo: Asus maximus III formula
cpu: I7 860
GTX 660
Storage set to AHCI
unplugged all usb devices
keep only 4GB ram over original 16
could please someone give me some suggestion???
Also suggestions about the use of GTX 660 drivers on snow leopard is good for me
Thanks, A.
