Ok so I was able to installed Mavericks successfully using a USB loader, however,i cant get the bootloader to work. (I must mention i have Mavericks in a SSD drive and windows 8 in a SATA drive, idk if this is possible, only boots with the USB stick on) Also, idk if there is a way to make the wireless work? and how would I go about the ktext for built-in mic and cam from the the laptop?

Thanks in advance,
Khriz

OK so i was able to install Mavericks using a USB loader with some boots flags such as -v cpus=1 busratio=25 GraphicsEnabler=Yes However after installing Mavericks, when it restarts the ios boots with the wrong graphics settings. The screen has a gray tone and offset to the right, I was able to set up the account creation but then i tried installing a few kexts through multibeast but they don't seem to have an effect since it comes back to being gray after restarting. I'm also not able to have wifi neither ethernet connectivity. I must also mention that I installed mavericks in a 64gb SSD on the second bay my hp dv7 comes with. Any help and suggestions on what kexts to install and how to get it to boot properly would be greatly appreciated. I put some info below to help make sense of what kext to use.

Thanks in advance,
Khriz :beachball:

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Did you install a bootloader to your selectid BIOS boot device?

If you did, do you see the bootloader when you turn on your computer?

ok so i partinioned the ssd with 2 partitions under the GUID partition table, one partition has windows 7 pro under the MS-DOS(FAT) format and the other is mac os extended ( journaled )

i did put a boot chameleon v2.2svn r2286 bootloader with mavericks on the USB stick and yes i see it. I'm having problems with the boot flags to reach the installer

How did you partition your SSD with HFS+ without getting to the OS X installer?

i want to reinstall Mavericks in this new SSD 240gb i just got that in which i have the partitions mentioned above in the last post. i was able to do this using the 64gb ssd which had mavericks before, but then i took this 64gb ssd and format it in a different computer since i won't be using it anymore.
