Hello all,

I am fairly new to all this. I built my rig, which you can see all the specs below, Mojave is working fine, but I notice every fan control app I try to download does not see any fans at all, and the fans on my GPU will not work. I have tried messing with the VGTab app and that did not help either. Has anyone run into this issue? I've been searching the forums and I haven't found too many posts with my graphics card or this issue :( any help would be great cause I feel like I am going to burn out my graphics card like this.

Also note, MacOS recognizes that I have a Vega64 in the "About this Mac" section. All the monitors I have plugged in work fine, it is literally just the fans on the GPU that refuse to spin. Also, the fans spin up when I first turn the computer on and also run just fine on my Windows 10 hard drive.

Hi tadros, how you can solved this issue?, thanks so much. I have the same issue.
The fans should spin up when the system is pushed hard enough. Try running LuxMark and watch the GPU fans, they should spin up with no issue.

Hi Tadros
Sorry if this is a bit off topic. I'm planning a similar build to yours with the gigabyte designare and sapphire vega 64 nitro. I know the sapphire card is big! Does it fit fine in the top x16 slot? In pics of the motherboard the cover over the IO looks like it would be close to the back plate of the GPU.
Also if you have the sapphire in the top x16 slot, can you still use the middle large PCIE slot or does the GPU (or support bracket) get in the way?
