Hi,

Not able to get HDMI output working on the HD630 laptop. Tried multiple fixes but no luck yet. Changed all the ports to HDMI for testing but still no HDMI output, only Laptop output via LVDS.

Have tried these for AAPL,ig-platform-id
0900A53E Laptop Recommended value for UHD630

07009B3E NUC Recommended value for UHD 620/630

@zappy39 I have kaby lake i7-7700hq hence using 00001B59 for “HD630”

check the guide in my signature

MacBookPro14,1 would be a better choice of SMBIOS

also check the other options in post 2 of said guide

@Feartech. Updated SMBIOS and quirks, but no luck yet.

device-id is wrong

also check in windows that your hdmi is not routed through your nvidia card otherwise it will not work

Yes, HDMI is routed through iGPU. It worked in Catalina. But it didn't work when switching to OpenCore.

What should be the correct device-id?
