Hi everyone,
I am not new in Hackintosh, have made 4 or 5 different ones over the past 5 years.

Now, I'm configuring one for my HP Elitebook 840 G5, coming with a 8250U / UHD 620
So far... everything seems to be working, sound, webcam, HDMI out, network, etc.

Problem is that the Graphic Card, don't seem to be working accelerated correctly (QE/CI), its laggy, and making some video glitches.
FB Patcher 1.7, says "No and No" for QE/CI and Metal.

I've tried many configurations, including the scripted one used for pro books from GIT for the model I have... But no luck... everything works BUT the QE/CI.

I have found someone with same CPU and same graphic card, showing it working on a screenshot, since he provided the EFI folder, I have got it, and booted with it with minimal mods (serial, etc), again... everything works BUT QE/CI ...

Can someone check the debug files provided and let me know what's missing?

Btw, as you see, memory shows correct with 1.5GB, but FBPatcher showing no full acceleration, so moving windows is slow, and there are some glitches, and missing fulls or transparencies on the interface.

Well, I dont have a UHD 630, and also, I dont get any kernel panic at all.

Yeah, this the first I tried... the problem is that the one in 8th gen, is the UHD 620, not the HD 620.
I think I tried both, spoofed and not spoofed, but will maybe just try again.

I sent the DEBUG files, in case someone with knowledge on this, can tell me whats wrong looking at there... because I was already like 4 days booting the PC changing configs, and not got QE/CI a single time... just different behaviour (like... some times it only worked on external monitor... some times only on internal... some times external monitor was like pink or something like this, sometimes it just worked good, but no QE/CI ... etc.

Have you followed this guide? https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen.256490/

TL;DR: In Hackintool (Intel-FB-Patcher) set Framebuffer > macOS 10.14 (18A391), then specify the correct IntelGen (I guess it's Coffee Lake?), then you can select a PlatformId. Chose one which Model(s) value is as close as possible to your current System Info Model.
However I couldn't find the Intel UHD 620, only Intel HD 620 and Intel UHD 630.

A quick and dirty compare between HD620 and UHD620 shows that they're more or less indentical (I guess they just miss the 32 MB eDRAM info)

Maybe it works if you just go with the Intel HD 620 (Kaby Lake, PlatformId: 0x59160000 = MacBookPro14,2)

Hey there! I think I've made some progress... I installed lilu kext, FakePCIID_Intelhdgraphics.kext and Intel graphicsfixup.kext, no fake id, only platform Id 0x19160000 (injetc intel) and got full acceleration on HDMI port (full hd monitor), laptop display still blurred, I'm attaching screenshots. Again my laptops specs: hp pavilion x360 14-cd0006la, Intel i5 8250u (Intel graphics uhd 620)
