Help me Please, it's make me crazy...

Hi everybody !
First of all, my native language is French, so sorry for mistakes...

My problem :

Several years ago, I've successfully installed Mac OSX 10.6 on my computer.
I'd got a lot of health trouble with a long time without using it.
Now my hard disk is dead and a can't remember how I've done...

I can't even get the boot screen. By pressing TAB, i can get the text mode of partitions selection but every attempt with any boot fags (-x -v -f) failed in reboot, stuck on black or apple screen.
I've tried with the tools I used to have at that time such as Chameleon... but no luck...

I've tried to replace the graphic card with an old Nvidia (6600gt) to have the graphic interface (OK !) but no change in booting something

My computer details :
MB : iWill DJ800 (iWill no longer exist...)
Proc : 2xIntel Xeon 3.4GHz, Socket 604
Ram : 4GB (4x1GB)
Graphic : ATI Radeon HD4870x2 (2 GPUs on only one board)
Hard disk : 80GB Sata (for OSx, the others drives were SCSI but i won't use them any more)

Any suggestion ?

Try download iBootLegacy and burn to CD. Boot with it, select the Snow Leopard icon for your HDD and hit the down arrow key to hi-lite Verbose Boot. Hit enter. Post results.

The iBootLegacy isn't working at all, the computer simply reboot before loading the GUI.
The Non-Legacy version boot, but when a try my SL in verbose mode, the computer freeze on a black screen just after the kext loading (Extension.mkext, etc...)

Installing is more difficult with dual CPU. Try boot args -v -x cpus=1 maxmem=4096

Hi again !

I've tried those boot flags, and no change...
juste the maxmem=4096 is in my mind useless since there is only 4GB of RAM

It's very annoying because i've nothing to give you (KP or anything else...)

I've made a DSDT.AML file via windows, but I just don't know how to use it...
I've joint it to this post if it can be useful...

Hi there !

I've managed to get things work together.

I still can't have my 4780X2 (black screen on chameleon, chimera, iBoot, ...).
I'll trade it for an other Nvidia or ATI card with more compatibility.

BUT :
With the Nvidia GT100, I get QE and CI through VGA but when I connect my second screen on the DVI port through a DVI to VGA converter, I get black screen on the second and no signal on the first (VGA).

Any idea with that ?

Hi !

Graphic is now OK (Nvidia Qaudro FX370 out of box !)

Now the problem (the LAST) is the Marvell Raid Chip (Adaptec 8110)
The BIOS is successfully initialized but I can't see the drive (container RAID0) in OSX.

Please if someone know how to make it working....
