Is this booting the installer or after you already installed?

- - - Updated - - -

Osx 10.8.5

Did you download it from the Mac App Store and use Unibeast to create your USB installer?

To install, you'll need to disable nvidia or remove the nvidia kexts (NV*, Geforce*).

Also, you'll need to use these flags:
IGPEnabler=N GraphicsEnabler=N -x -v -f UseKernelCache=N dart=0

Eventually, you'll want to enable your HD4000, which depends on your screen resolution (which I didn't see in the very long list of specs).

Hello,

i'm trying to install Hackintosh OSX Mountain Lion on my Acer Aspire R7.

How I did:

1. I created an UniBeast stick
2. I started my Laptop and changed the Boot Option to "Legacy" (I forgot to select Legacy Support in UniBeast:banghead:)
3. I booted from the UniBeast stick and selected the UniBeast stick (I had do type in "-x -v")
4. I formatted my extern hard drive like addressed in many tutorials
5. I installed osx to the extern hard drive
6. I used MultiBeast, like adressed in many tutorials
7. I restarted my Laptop with the UniBeast stick and selected the extern hard drive
8. Now I can't restart my Laptop without the unibeast stick and the command "-x-v"

What did you install in Multibeast?

For a good way to start with Multibeast on laptops, read here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...nagement-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-laptops.html

Please do not post laptop questions in the desktop forums. Thanks! Also, please do not cross-post.

How do I remove nvidia kext?

My screen resolution is 1920*1080

Best regards

OK i used the flags and re-installed OSX. Now it Stücks at the Apple Logo. What to do?

Boot "-v" and post a photo of where it stops.

Also, what is your screen resolution?

You will likely need to remove the nvidia kexts (NV*, Geforce*) and set your ig-platform-id properly for HD4000 (depends on screen resolution).
