im using iboot to boot retail dvd of Snow Leopard and it hangs at Grey apple screen with no movement.
I have set up everything according to the default guides for SL and they wont work.
i have tried all the boot flags with all the combos.
Whenever i use verbose it says ddst's or whatever dont load and it makes up a custom one or something. Everything else is fine bu then it says:
starting up darwin x86 then it goes black. If i dont use verbose it hangs at apple logo without movement at all. Using a gpu is not an option since the one i have is 6950....
I just wanna know what osx version i should use for my specs. i thought SL was the end all choice but it looks like once again the pirate route is the easiest/foolproof way since no one has a mac in my friend circle and my fam are total computer noobs
