Are the 9285 and the 5B95 the same card?

This is my guess....

AR9285 is a WiFi chipset.
AR9280 is a WiFi chipset.
AR3011 is a bluetooth chipset.

AR5B95 is the PCB reference design with AR9285 WiFi.
AR5B195 is the PCB reference design with AR9285 WiFi+AR3011 bluetooth.
AR5BHB92 is the PCB reference design with AR9280 WiFi.

OEMs producing PCBs (eg. half-mini PCIe WiFi cards) seem to adopt the reference design name in their own model numbers.

And im trying to make a dual boot but im having an error and im following this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...h-space-device-requested-operation-error.html but after i assign the drive letter it wont let me open the drive to copy the files, could you help me with that also?

OS X is not well behaved with disks partitioned by other than OS X Disk Utility, but there are things you can check/do.

See this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/multi-booting/133940-mavericks-windows-8-same-drive-without-erasing.html

Note: Novices should repartition with Disk Utility (wiping out Windows), install OS X, install Windows after, restoring personal files from backup.

Ok but ive tried many different combos like installing osx and then doing windows but when i boot into the installer it says the drive is formatted as a MBR when i set it to a GUID and i cant install windows. And would that guide work for yosemite and windows 8?

There is important dual boot information in the guide (post #2).

Make sure you read it carefully (from your description, I can see you haven't read it).
