Hi dear TonyMacx86 forum!

Today I've run into a little problem... I updated to Mavericks 10.9.3. After doing this I encountered USB 3.0 freezes seemingly at random. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. After trying to do my own troubleshooting I found a couple of solutions. I didn't delete GenericUSBXHCI.kext because I couldn't find it in my S/E/L, so I went through with the solution below

The post is from this thread (number 28): http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-h...b-device-cause-mavericks-10-9-1-freeze-3.html

After installing the 3 kexts and restarting I get this boot error....

I tried everything to get the Hackintosh to boot, -x, -v, -f, not even single user mode is working...

If you guys have any tips that could help!

My specs are:

Intel Core i7-4770K
GeForce GTX 760
GA-Z87X-UD7-TH

Do you have your Unibeast USB stick? If so, boot with that, select your OSX drive and then you should boot to OSX where you can delete the kexts from S/L/E. Reboot and you should be back to where you were when you started.

Allright so I lost my previous USB stick, FINALLY made a new one (Unibeast 4 takes forever and I thought it was freezing as well).

After booting with the newly created Unibeast USB do I select to boot from usb? Cause when I do I get in the install mavericks screen... Do I have to install Mavericks anew?

Thank you for your reply and hope I'm not being annoying :)
