I'm at wit's end.
Computer specs that matter:
Mobo: Gigabyte H61M-DS2V
Video: NVidia GeForce 450 GTS
CPU: Core i3-2100 (Sandybridge)
Storage: OCZ Vertex 120GB SSD, (there is also a plain HDD where Windows 7 lives)
The Problem:
-Can't boot successfully after installing Multibeast.
What works:
I can install Snow Leopard 10.6.6 DVD via iBoot, but only if I use "PCIRootUID=1 -x" and boot into safemode. After OS X install, everything is low-res and sound does not work, but surprisingly (luckily) the ethernet works and I can connect to the internet. This is the best I can get.
What I've tried:
-The DSDT for GA-H61M-DS2, F3 Bios
-Updating with only the 10.6.6 Combo Update
-Updating with only 10.6.7 Combo Update
In both of these attempts, I tried "Apple 64-Bit mode" and in a separate attempt "Apple 64-bit mode GraphicsEnabler=NO"
-Updating with 10.6.8 Combo Update, but running Update Helper beforehand.
-I've tried booting with the PCIRootUID=1 -x command line.
In all instances, the gray Apple boot screen simply hangs unresponsively. If I try to boot from iBoot and run the SSD volume, I get a kernel panic. This forces me to start over from square one.
Please help?
