Hi,

This is my 1st hackintosh. I was looking for a thin itx fanless build ; Here it is :
Box AKASA Euler
MB Asus Q87T
CPU i5 4590T @35W (iGPU HD4600 inside)
SSD Samsung 840 Pro 128GB
WiFi Atheros 9280 a/b/g/n Half PCie
RAM 8GB Crucial DDR3-1600

Drive is GPT and installation is done with Unibeast/Multibeast Mavericks 10.9.5
The good news is WiFi is OOB supported..
But for the rest... I don't really understand what to do.
First I tried EasyBeast.. but once reboot I always have to boot first on USB to choose SSD drive with following flags : -v -f -x PCIRootUID=1 nv_disable=1

I also tried DSDTFRee config from Pbpraha who has same motherboard
http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...t-miniitx-i7-4770t-hd-4600-working-audio.html
But afterwards it did not want to boot anymore even with boot flags

Maybe I did wrong and launched Multibeast on USB key rather to copy it on SSD drive and launch it from SSD ? I thought I always could restart even with wrong parameters in multibeast by pressing -x -f -F these kind of flags ?
Would it work easier with Yosemite rather Mavericks ?

I read that ASUS does not support GPT disk to boot from ???? I dont think so since I tried Win8.1 few days ago and everything was OK.
My ASUS Bios is uptodate : FW version 0910

I can publish BIOS settings or whatever if needed, just ask.
Thanks for helping.

Hi,

I got myself this board with an i5 4590T and 16 GB of RAM. WIFI is the Atheros 9280. I run a DSDT free installation based on Clover 3577 and it seems (almost) everything's working:

  • WIFI OOTB
  • Sleep/wake/power nap
  • Power management
  • IGPU acceleration
  • USB3
  • On-board ethernet
DRM protected material in iTunes (movies/trailers/TV shows) hard crashes the hack.

I have a SSDT for native power management (made with ssdtPRGen) and an SSDT to tell USBInjectAll.kext what USB ports to activate.

Cheers,
Tim
