Help can't install nvidia drivers properly mac os Sierra

Hello... I've been trying to install mac os sierra 10.12.6 and i am not able to make my graphics card work. The model is geforce 9400 gt..i have tried installing web drivers and all but no luck... sometimes it keeps on restarting and sometimes it ends on dark screen....Can someone help???
