Same problem, after upgrade to Catalina 10.15.4.
And also #56 doesn't works.
My AppleALC version is 1.4.8, currently up to date.

Have you tried deleting any other AppleALC.kext in your system (EFI\Clover\kexts\Other, S/L/E, L/E, etc...) and using the patched one attached in #56?

Just to let you know I've fixed it by disable HDMI audio from my GPU (i don't use it) following this method
- I've disabled Serial Port A in my bios (Peripherals\Super IO Configuration)
- Used gfxutil to get my GPU HDEF in my case PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1B,0x0)
- add the GPU Pci address in Clover Configurator --> Devices

Thank you. This fixed my sleep issue. The trick was using the HDEF entry from the gfxutil, not the Audio device that was auto populated by clover configurator.

Hi,
I'm suffering from the same issue after upgrading my GTX 670 to a RX 580 8GB today. First I suffered a black screen after wake which I solved by disabling the serial port on BIOS (I don't why was enabled) and now I'm facing the same KP as you, but I have no idea about gxfutil or how to use it. Can anybody please translate to human how to disable the AMD HDMI audio? I would really really appreciate it.

UPDATE: I've applied the same patch as you after confirming with gfxutil -f HDEF which was my root which happens to be the same ( PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1B,0x0) ). I added your modifications to my Clover plist file and it seems to be working fine now and I'm able to go to sleep and wake the computer without crashing.
I would anyway love to know what I've done, because I don't understand what I just did.

Your patch fixes my hackintosh sleep problem that had been over 5 years! I spent lots of time back then and couldn't find any solution, so I had been using my sleepless hackintosh for so long. Now it's fully working today. Really appreciate you to share this info!!
