I'm also having this problem. It's only happening when I'm playing a game however. Starcraft 2 to be exact. After removing the AppleALC.kext I was able to play for longer but instead of CPU3 panic I'm now getting a CPU1 panic. Any help would be appreciated.

Catalina 10.15.2
i5 6500k
h170-gaming 3
wx-7100
clover options are pretty bare just the SMC, Lilu, Whatever green kexts

Hi guys,
After struggling with this issue for a while, I figured out solution: I just unload native Apple audio kext and PC starts to sleep and wakeup nicely.
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
Off course audio is gone, but it's not important for me. When you need audio back, just type
sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
Hope it helps

Or buy 1€ usb audio dongle ;)

It depends on what monitor/connection I am using. In my case, if I connected with DP-->HDMI (Dell S2419HM), works great, no any issues. But if I connected with DP-->DP (Dell U2412M), I get this AppleALC kernel panic.

Hi all. I have this exact same problem.
I don't use HDMI audio, so I don't mind disabling it, but I wasn't able to do it.
I attached a picture of my attempt. These properties don't get saved, there must be an error.
I'm using latest version of AppleALC (1.4.6)

I have this issue where the Hackintosh keeps rebooting after a period of inactivity. The below seems to help. Thank you.

sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

Change AppleALC to version 1.2.8. It solved this problem.
