Edhawk 's hp microserver gen8 guide has always been one of my favorites. However, there was an unusual issue with the HP microserver Gen10: it couldn't start without a display. When I unplug the display, the machine does not boot (since when the machine begins successfully, it immediately joins the file sharing); in contrast, when I connect to any monitor (even without turning on the display), the computer starts up normally. What might be the cause of this problem? thanks.
HP Microserver Gen8 - USB (now working) & Built-in BCM Ethernet non functioning
I have applied USBFix1000 via Xcode, the attached zip file contains the latest ioreg file with this fix applied. I have also attached a couple of screenshots showing the two Intel USB 2.0 controllers in the ioreg. In the ioreg IPT1, 1PT5, IPT7 and IPT8 appear to be related to the USB ports...
