Hi, I am trying to get my external display to work. I have the HP Probook 440 G4, Intel i5-7200U @2,5GHz, Intel HD 620. When I plug/unplug my monitor via HDMI, my laptop crashes and reboots itself. Plugging the display before booting doesn't work either. Can someone help me to get HDMI to work? Thank you

there you go (attached file)
i did a fresh install and used whatevergreen. remember to use the correct ig-platform-id for your IGPU. more info here:
also you might need to fix EDID in case your HDMI signal is YCrCb instead of sRGB
