    Hey all,

I was wondering if someone could give me a explanation on what to do as regards to getting HDMI audio up on running on macOS Sierra on my Intel HD 530.

I've attempted to follow this guide, however, I'm getting very confused with it and was wondering if I could have some help!

    Thanks!

Apologies about that, this is my old account I never used, I've updated it with the current hardware I am using for you

I've run the Terminal commands and restarted my machine, outputs are now displaying in System Preferences. I'm slightly confused as to what to do regarding SSDT and DSDT edits.

EDIT: connecting headphones through the audio jack allows me to hear audio

I'm getting this error when running the command, any ideas?

(I just scored out my name, hence the red marker)

That is the name of the compressed file, uncompressed shows version info. Where is the uncompressed file?

    Trying to get HDMI Audio working.. Running the audio_cloverHDMI script, I get the following error;

No HDMI audio codec(s) detected, continue (y/n): y
    HDMI audio codec(s)
    Device ID: 0x1b190000 not supported
rm: /tmp/HDEF.txt: No such file or directory
    Install AMD/Nvidia HDMI audio (y/n): y
    AMD/Nvidia HDMI codec found
AMD/Nvidia graphics not found, unknown acpi PCI0/graphics name
    Names checked: PEGP@0 GFX0@0 display@0 pci-display@0 GFX1@0 H000@0 pci10de pci1002

Should I be using another platform-ID?
I usually have a patch that renames GFX0 to IGPU, I've tried disabling that and same error comes up..

    Any help please..
